The Matrix Studio 84 Wood Shaft has a moderately low ball flight due to its moderately high weight. This golf shaft is designed for those with moderately faster swing speeds in order to slow the swing speed down a notch and guarantee more distance off impact.

This golf shaft will give you a slightly lower launch on your woods and drivers then some of the lighter shafts. What Matrix Studio provides is an easy method of mixing and matching weights to blend high launching or lower launching. Or you can simply choose one model that suits you best and use that throughout your entire set.

Each Matrix Studio shaft is tested for Circum-Flex Integrity [CFI], a measure of uniform flex, no matter what the shaft alignment is. Then, through a Matrix Multi-Matching process, each shaft is tested for proper tip-to-butt section proportionality. No other manufacturer employs this process. The Matrix Multi-Matching and CFI produce the most repeatable, accurate performance in a golf shaft today.
